Avalon Farmstay. Quiet cottage on working farm

Stay in a restored farm house with all the charm of its 99 years and the comfort of modern conveniences. Situated on a working sheep and cropping farm on the outskirts of the country village of The Rock, we're 30min from Wagga CBD, 25 min to Kapooka, 1hr from Albury, and in the heart of Lockhart Shire. The house boasts 3 generous bedrooms accomadating up to 7 guests. All rooms have views to country vistas and The Rock over the fields. Full kitchen, bathroom laundry & plenty of outdoor space.

We have 4 rooms available, if you would like to book more than 1 room please contact me. This is room 4 which is in the main house, it has a a double bed, an electric blanket in winter, cooling in summer and has a small T.V., and is next to the main bathroom. The house has ducted air conditioning [Breeze air refrigeration], this means windows must be open in each room, this is a very safe quiet town so please dont be put off by having to leave windows open. We have other rooms available

Karridale Cottage

Located only 30kms from Wagga, newly listed Karridale Cottage is a cozy, private guesthouse which combines modern comforts with rustic country charm. Inside, be treated to a queen-sized bed, spacious living and dining, and fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and laundry. Enjoy the private yard and verandah overlooking views of the countryside. Wattle Park Farm Stay is a cabin on an 830 acre mixed farm. The property has stunning views and peaceful surroundings. If you just want a break there are wide open spaces for walking, and quiet roads for cycling. Otherwise relax on the deck or under the trees with a glass of wine, watching the animals, or the sun setting over the hills. The property is about 1 hour from Albury, Wagga Wagga, the Hume Weir and numerous wineries, and 3 hours to Victorian and NSW snowfields.

Our home was built in 1935 and is made with concrete blocks which the owners children used to make after school with the youngest being only 5 years old and she still lives in town. I love the old world look and chandeliers, every room has one even the bathroom

the Upper Room B & B

we have a fabulous upper room accessed by a staircase (no lift). it has a separate entrance and is fully self contained with a bathroom, kitchenette and small lounge room. there is also access to a reading room and it is furnished in period furniture
