Other than outside, there is no contact with other people (hosts, other guests, etc) possible unless the guest allows such. The unit consists of a living room, dining space (breakfast basics provided), kitchen, full bathroom/laundry. Walk to Fairfield U; an easy train ride to NYC. (Need the Murphy bed? PLEASE do not wait until just before checkin to let us know that!)

Hot tub is in 3-acre backyard with privacy enclosure, so bathing suits are optional (we provide bathrobes.)

Private bathroom with toiletries included. Close to beaches, shopping, and SUNY hospital and campus by car or bus. Pull-out loveseat with twin size mattress available for an extra charge. (Book for “3 Guests” for this regardless of occupancy so we know to prepare the bed.)

The village offers numerous places to explore in our quaint town and even more day trips on the outskirts where you can enjoy the simple pleasures during your time at our relaxing cottage.

Although the unit is connected to the main house it has its own entrance, kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. It is connected to the main house through a staircase to the basement and a French door. Please note: We have a family cat named Jazz who likes to roam the whole house.
