Wild strawberry Shepard’s Hut with Hot Tub

Beautiful shepherds hut powered by solar for an off grid experience along the Wild Atlantic Way situated on Connemara farm land located 20 minutes from Galway city and 10 minutes from Oughterard and Lough Corrib. Sleeps 3 with a double bed and a single bed. Kitchenette with running water and gas hob, separate fire pit/BBQ area and outhouse with toilet, sink and heated shower. There is a small wood burning stove in the Shepherds hut with kindling provided. Towels and bedding are also provided.

Welcome to Shepherd's Rest. A self contained cosy apartment. The apartment is located on our working farm with views of Lough Corrib and Shannaghree Lakes, as well as breathtaking views of Connemara Mountains. It provides the best of both worlds, secluded in nature but 5 mins drive to village, pubs, restaurants, bakery and grocery stores. There are plenty local amenities scenic walks, hikes, fishing, golfing and an adventure centre in Moycullen. Perfect getaway to discover Connemara.

Little Sea House has spectacular sea views on the wild Atlantic coast in Connemara. Resting peacefully at the end of a private lane, you’ll hear only wind, waves and birds. Lough Corrib, where wild trout can be caught lies at the bottom of our lane. Oughterard is our bustling and picturesque local town.
