The Old Henhouse is nestled on our family farm in South County Galway. The exterior is charred timber cladding which blends discreetly to the surroundings. You have on site parking, private outdoor sitting area, a compact kitchen with gas hob, fridge. Wood burning stove to provide warmth in the cooler winter evenings. Espresso Coffee machine. Tea, coffee, essential condiments supplied. Extremely comfortable double bed, bathroom, shower/toilet. Constant hot water. Just take a deep breath & relax!

Garden cabin

Welcome to our Scandinavian timber-cladded cabin situated in a quiet rural setting only 6km from Athenry town with its medieval castle, cosy pubs, good restaurants, and shops. Athenry has rail/bus connections with Dublin, Limerick and Galway City. An ideal spot from which to plan your excursions: head west to Galway City (23km); or southwest via Kinvara (24km) to the Burren (43km); and then to the Cliffs of Moher (70km). Or, go east to Loughrea (19km) where there's safe summer lake swimming.

Four Roads Barn is a lovingly renovated cart barn. Finished to a high standard, this self-catering barn blends original features with contemporary comfort and style. Set in rural East Galway it is centrally positioned to explore both Lough Derg and the Burren Lowlands. The heritage towns of Portumna and Loughrea are both 15mins drive away. Nearby attractions include Pallas Karting, Kylebrack Forest and Slieve Aughty Equestrian Centre. A lively village pub is within easy walking distance.

Travel time from Shannon and Knock international airports is approximately 1hour. The fantastic Atlantic way is on our door step, with the Cliffs of Moher, Aran Islands and Connemara just a short drive away.

Enjoy the peace and tranquility of a rural setting, 5 mins drive from Galway Bay Sailing Club and Renville Park and beaches. Close to the beautiful villages of Clarinbridge and Oranmore. Ideal location to visit The Burren, Galway City (30 mins) Galway Racecourse (15 mins) and Connemara. The large decking area is surrounded by lovely gardens and there is a polytunnel where guests can avail of seasonal veg. Convenient to the main Galway and Clare road yet located in a tranquil setting.
