A perfect location to relax & explore Cong, Connemara & the West of Ireland. The barn loft is situated 1.5 miles from Ashford Castle/Cong Village. The loft sleeps 4/5 persons (2 double bedrooms, single portable guest bed) and has a large living space, kitchen, & bathroom. There are 14 steps to the entrance, which is lighted externally. Joyce's Cottage, one of two adjoining traditional cottages (the other being Derrypark Cottage) lies below the imposing Partry mountains on the shore of Lough Mask. This is the very best of Connemara. Solitude, peace and breathtaking scenery. Visitors can swim from their private beach, go for a cycle (bikes available) or simply sit outside and take in the spectacular scenery. A short drive (45 mins) over the mountains brings you to numerous secluded beaches on the Wild Atlantic Way.

120 years old restored cottage situated in a scenic and secluded area. It is surrounded by lakes and mountains and an ideal base for a fishing and touring holiday in Galway, Connemara and Mayo. a wonderful location, for hill walking ,outdoor pursuit's, angling, water sports ,nature. Heating and electricity is included, and an inital complementary bag of firewood is supplied for the stove.
