Built in 1950, she is - as guests have described: a "perfectly imperfect" - old dame, lovingly maintained as a comfortable home. The decor & furnishings are in keeping with that era, while gentle renovations provide modern conveniences in the kitchen & bathrooms. And the region's best fish & chippy is almost next door!

Now we would like to offer you the opportunity to experience beautiful Hawley Beach, make lasting memories of your own. Whether you want to explore the beach or just sit on the deck enjoying the great view. Our Place is the perfect location to holiday and to explore the North West Coast of Tasmania. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Portsea Cottage

Our light-filled cottage is situated in a quiet street a short stroll to beaches, and local amenities. It is a 15 minute drive to the Devonport airport and a 5 minute drive to the local shopping precinct. Our peaceful cottage has two large bedrooms. Bedroom 1 contains a king size bed which can also be configured as twin singles upon request. Bedroom 2 contains a queen size bed. Detached from the house is a bungalow which also contains a queen size bed and has its own sitting area and toilet.

Our "shack" at Greens Beach is a comfortable holiday home for our family (including 2 dogs!) and we have tried to set it up for all the activities that the area offers (and we love!). It is 5 minutes walk to the beach (less if you have a Labrador or large water loving dog!), shop, golf club and tennis courts. We have provided most of the basics for these activities! It is a perfect spot to relax or a base to explore what the Tamar Valley has to offer!

Direct access to Greens Beach via the back deck. You can amble to the water's edge or head along the walking track into Narawntapu National Park for a longer walk. Relax and enjoy the view from the huge deck or inside from the floor to ceiling windows. A perfect family or large group stay with room for groups of 10. There are 3 bedrooms to choose from: a king, queen or twin rooms. Two and a half bathrooms and a modern kitchen/dining room are perfect for families to self cater. The entire house and yard is private, spacious and yours to enjoy.
