Lapland cabin by a lake

This small, traditional, Lappish log cabin is located right at lake Norvajärvi , only some steps to the water (or ice in winter). Enjoy the lake view and forest around you, immerse to the nature and its sounds and smells, marvel the northern lights and cosy up by the open fire. Cabin has electricity but no running water. We bring drinking water in containers and washing water to sauna is taken from the sweet water lake. We are 20km from Rovaniemi city, apprx 30min drive -with no street lights.

Soutaja Lodge

Rauhallisella sijainnilla ja tunturinäkymällä uusi mökki lähellä rinteitä ja pyhän palveluita. Hiihtolatu vieressä 100m päässä. Rinteille ja Pyhän keskukseen 2,5km. Soutajatunturille omalta pihalta patikoiden tai vaikka skinnaten takamaastoja tutkimaan. Kohde sijaitsee lähellä pyhäjärveä n.100m rannasta mutta kohteella ei ole omaa rantaa. Yleinen uimaranta astelissa autolla 5min matkan päässä. Majoitukseen sisältyy loppusiivous. Liinavaatteet ja pyyhkeet lisämaksusta 25€/setti. Ei lemmikkejä.

A quirky hidden gem, nestled in a tiny reindeer herding village in Lapland far away from tourist herds. Brimming with books, retro cabin vibes and cosy corners for reading and gazing out at the lake on both floors, this is the perfect place to retreat into or create a world of your own. Authentic Finnish log cabin, which ensures a warm and comfortable stay. Please note that this cabin is semi-detached, meaning that you may share the area with some other visitors. The cabins however can only be accessed from the outside and you don't have to share facilities.

This holiday home, built in 2013, is located only about a 30-minute drive from the center of Rovaniemi and Santa Claus Village.
