The Carriage House is the perfect destination for wedding travelers whose events are located within minutes of multiple wedding venues. The Carriage House grounds feature a 50 foot private pool, outdoor living space with fireplace , marble gazebo, and tremendous gardens throughout the ten acre property. Welcome to The Sleeping Bear Retreat at Jim Thorpe. Located at the top of the mountain, and only minutes from the center of town, our 2 Bed / 2 Bath carriage house suite offers comfort, privacy and convenient access to everything Jim Thorpe has to offer. While it is not an actual tree house, it is a carriage house surrounded by trees on most sides. The name "Tree House" comes from former guests who named this space, and for that we are forever grateful <3

Woodland Wonder

Quiet, secluded property with private entrance. Located on 10 acres, approximately 5 miles from Ricketts Glen state park. We have ponds stocked with fish, picnic areas, woods, and wildlife. It is a great place for a weekend getaway. There a many restaurants relatively close by to go get dinner at as well. Our property has limited wifi and cell phone service, perfect for an unplugged getaway.
