Lake Akela Lodge

Cozy 5 bedroom log cabin on a lake. Get away from it all and enjoy hiking, fishing or just reading on the front porch. We host groups with a maximum of 16 guests. This is a special shared family retreat..we only rent it out a handful of times each year to help cover the costs. Our dad left us this special place and to respect his wishes we generally only host families and multi-generational gatherings...it was our dad's dream for this place to be a place for making family memories.

Beautiful 2 story cottage located directly on Pine Creek with creek access. Easy access to the Rails to Trails for bike riding or walking or enjoy the endless hiking trails. Beautiful balcony overlooking Pine Creek. Sit relax and watch Eagles fly down the creek or sit around the fire pit and enjoy the peaceful mountains. Local bars and restaurants just down the road. There are two bedrooms each with their own bathroom. Half bath on the 1st floor with Washer and dryer available.

Spend your time away in this 1934 cottage in beautiful Eagles Mere. The "Time Forgot" cottage has so much history and charm. This cottage features 5 spacious bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a large and updated eat in kitchen, and 2 covered porches. The kids will LOVE the large yard and playhouse. The cottage is centrally located in town. It is about a five-minute walk to the lake, the park, the Sweet Shop, Museum, Eagles Mere Inn and Country Store. You can’t get any more convenient!

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay in the quaint little town of Eagles Mere. Located in the mountains, with the woods as your backyard, you are within walking/biking distance to the beach, as well as the main part of town. Home in country with A lot of animals around. Half hour from Williamsport & about half hour from Lewisburg. 15 minutes from Muncy. 3 miles from Montour Preserve where Chillisquae Lake is. Fishing, nature trails to walk, kayaks & canoes to rent. About 40 minutes from Knoebels Amusement Park where it is free to enter & just buy tickets for rides.
