Welcome to a truly unique stay! Our property is home to two special ventures—our goat rental business, Scapegoats, and our nonprofit animal sanctuary, Mousam Misfits. While goats are part of the charm, they’re just the beginning—you may also see a variety of rescued animals during your visit. If you love animals and a one-of-a-kind experience, you’ll feel right at home here! We are about 150 ft from the Mousam River, and guests have access to kayaks (for free!) The property is located half in Sanbornville NH and half in Acton Maine. There is so much to do on the property and throughout the Lakes Region. Our Log Cabin is completely off grid, which runs fully off solar and Wi-Fi.
