Our subdivision is ideally situated among thousands of acres of public land near the beautiful Au Sable River. The neighborhood is quiet, peaceful, and full of nature. Come and enjoy all this beautiful area has to offer, including hunting, fishing, hiking, skiing, trail riding, kayaking, tubing, canoeing, etc. A boat launch for the Au Sable River, an ORV trailhead and DJs Scenic Bar are within a mile of the cabin (in McKinley). Hiking and skiing trails are 10-15 minutes from the cabin.

We offer 2 kayaks to use (must transport) cornhole boards & bags, trail riding your UTV/ORV, hiking, rafting at Jordan Valley Outfitter, snowmobiling. & many fine dining restaurants, several ski resorts and short day trips! Come and enjoy the peace and beauty of Northern Michigan at Grandma's Getaway! We have lovingly restored the interior of this home and it reminds me of being at Grandma's house. We have preserved many of the original elements and created a welcoming space around them. Enjoy Mio Dam pond, the AuSable River and walking trails during the day. “The Winchester”

Relax in peaceful tranquility of the newest addition to Gola cabins in “the Winchester”. A newly built Tiny Cabin situated in the forest next to a private pond. The property is bordering the Huron national Forest with plenty of hiking trails throughout. We are directly across the street from an ORV Trail head. This is a perfect location for UTV, ATV and, snowmobiling. The cabin is equipped with AC, a bathroom with shower and a small kitchen. Plus a bon-fire pit. W/ cooking grate.

This cozy two-bedroom getaway is on a private lot located only minutes away from the ORV trails and less than two miles from Wicker Hills Golf Course. All essentials are provided plus some extras. WIFI, Smart TV, DVD collection, and games are available in addition to a washer and dryer for your convenience. Outside you can enjoy the screened-in sitting area, fire pit, grill, and picnic table. Located 10.9 miles from Hale and 15 miles from Glennie. Self-check-in with the lockbox.

Our cabin in the woods is a quiet refuge, not a party place. Built with many unique features: log cabin room with vaulted ceiling, log walls in kitchenette/upstairs small dinette seating area and log wall in sunroom. Carriage style Barn doors, from grandparents old chicken coop. The metal stair railing designed & laser cut with pine trees. Downstairs walkout basement has concrete log beams & posts, as well as some concrete tree branches. Trails are for quiet travel only, no motors.
