Mt. Borah Retreat, your Mountain Escape

Enjoy a relaxing stay in the Mt. Borah Retreat after a day of off-roading, hunting, fishing, hiking and many other outdoor activities the area is famous for. We welcome your family and friends to our 4 bedroom, 2 bath home with lots of light and exceptional views. Enjoy a fun evening in the downstairs game room with pool, air hockey, foos ball and ping pong. Play games at the game table or just sit and watch the variety of movies available. Roast hot dogs and smores in the outdoor fire pit.

Adventure and relax with the whole family. Visit our ranch with breathtaking views of the Lost River Valley. Surrounded by public land, access vast recreational areas or visit nearby historic Mackay for dinner and a movie at the restored theater. Newly built, luxurious cabin provides easy access to ATV, hiking, and horse trails, with available corral. View wildlife, enjoy colorful sunsets and contact us for a list of local activities. Mackay Bunkhouse

The Bunkhouse is right on the Lost River just two miles outside of the city of Mackay. Surrounded by mountains, there is an abundance of wildlife on the property, as well as a mile of river front to fish. The large bunkhouse can accomodate families or groups of fishermen, hunters, ATV riders, golf or snowmobile in the winter months. Year round activities are abundant at this property with beautiful views off the large deck overlooking The Lost River. **We have now added a golf simulator!**

Newly renovated apartment on Main Street

APARTMENT 3. Entire, private, and newly renovated apartment centrally located on Main Street in beautiful Mackay. Enjoy gorgeous views of Mt. McCaleb (part of the tallest mountain range in Idaho) from living room and bedroom windows. The apartment is within walking distance to local bars, restaurants, grocery store, River Park Golf Course (0.5 mi) and Lost River Valley Museum. 6 miles from Mackay Reservoir for boating and fishing during the summer months and ice fishing during the winter.

Quiet getaway in Hailey.

This cozy cabin is a great getaway. It is riding distance to hiking and mountain bike trails and is 10 miles from Sun Valley's skiing and mountain biking. The private setting provides a quiet and serene place to relax and is blocks from downtown Hailey. Fully fenced yard with city park to the west and north of the property. We have 2 cruiser bikes, 2 pair of snowshoes and a small barbeque available. Not suitable for toddlers and young children. Campers and camping are not allowed.

Wheeler Family Cabin

Relax at our family heritage home. Enjoy the view of Mount McCaleb in the Lost River Mount range from the front porch. Mount Borah is a short distance up the valley for those who want the adventure of climbing the highest mountain in Idaho. The Big Lost river offers some of the best trout fishing in Idaho with the Mackay reservoir right up the road for those who like to fish from boats or from the bank. We are located right on the edge of Mackay so it is a short walk or drive to town.

Fun getaway or couples retreat! Stay in modern farmhouse comfort in beautiful Mackay! Convenient location that is steps away from amenities including the grocery store and several restaurants. Spend the weekend cruising the area's awesome ATV trails or any number of recreational activities Mackay has to offer. This is a fully renovated studio apartment in the back of a historic building. Private entrance and an enclosed brick patio. Enjoy the full kitchen and relax in the clawfoot tub.

High Valley Cottage

Majestic mountain views on every side at this quiet cottage. Drive down a long winding lane, to arrive at this peaceful setting in Lost River Valley, home to Idaho’s tallest peaks. It is situated close to Mackay, (approximately 6 miles) and hosts many ATV and hiking trails. Mt Borah trailhead, Idaho’s tallest mountain, is 20 miles up the valley. The reservoir, and rivers are ideal fishing spots. We now have high speed Internet, so this is an excellent place to work remotely.

Quiet Sun Valley/Hailey Studio

The private ground floor studio apartment to my home has a kitchenette, outdoor seating area for coffee, one queen sized bed, two twin sized foam pads for placement on rug for extra guest, shower, very cool in summer due to cement floors and ground floor entrance, dining area and good natural light. Hiking behind the house! Walk-to-Hailey-downtown. There is a 20.00 cash dog fee per day. Dogs cannot be left without their owners in the studio. No cats, sadly, due to allergies.

The Red House

Step back in time and immerse yourself in Mackay’s charming 1950’s mountain cottage! Conveniently located between Main Street and the Mine Hill, you will be close to all of the amenities and all of the fun! Originally an old miner’s cabin, the home has been updated with modern amenities to become a cozy retreat, while still remaining an important piece of Mackay history. Due to the property’s proximity to water, small children not recommended.

Carey home near fly fishing & Craters of the Moon

This remodeled charming farmhouse is located within minutes of Silver Creek world class fishing, Craters of the Moon National Monument, great hiking, and other outdoor recreation. The house is fully furnished to make your stay easy and relaxing. We hope you enjoy your stay in the BoLo Bungalow. Updated with brand new air conditioning and central heat, very fast fiber optic internet, and kayaks available for adventuring on local waterways.

Laurelwood Suite: 2 Bedrooms, Private Entrance

The entire upstairs of our house is yours! Your space has a locked off, private entrance (we live downstairs in a separate area). Includes 2 bedrooms, each with a queen bed, private living area, one full bath, mini fridge, coffee pot, microwave, washer/dryer, and small private outside space. 5-10 min drive to the Sun Valley airport. Perfect base to experience world-renowned skiing, hiking, biking, and fishing.
