In 1856, an English stonemason, Thompson Priest, began mining slate in Mintaro. At the same time, he built a home with stables at the rear of his property. Over the intervening years, the stables fell into a desperate state, however, recently, the Stable has returned to life through a sensitive restoration and refurbishment. The kitchen dining lounge area is upstairs and accessed by a spiral staircase. There is a big city skyline view. There is a full set of kitchen appliances. 51SQ Eco Home (51 square metres) is close to all city attractions including the Central Market, Adelaide Oval and tram. 51SQ is also a great place for work or leisure.
