Mayhurst is a grand historic estate that sits atop rolling hills overlooking its 37 acres of Virginia countryside. The 9,200 square foot manor house has 8 grand rooms to choose from with over 12 fireplaces, rich architecture, 160-year-old spiral staircase, the original wavey glass windows, relaxing garden courtyard, trails, a pond, and much more.

Farm-House Cottage on Grand Estate

The Farm House cottage is rich in history, unique in chracter, and charmingly situated on an old Virginia Estate. The cottage was built in 1859 as a one room school house, and much of it is still original today. The farm House overlooks the 160 year old barn and our lovely goats. The farm house also is surround by walking trails, nature, and lots of trees. IF your a guest at the farm house you have access to the main house, and the entire 37 acre estate.

Our home is Nestled in the foothills of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains and Shenandoah Valley. Relax in our private loft complete with bathroom and kitchenette area. Enjoy a hike on nearby trails or enjoy the mountain views! We are only a 15 minute drive from Luray Caverns and Downtown Luray. We are also in close proximity to the Shenandoah National Park and many other destinations!
