Relax with the whole family in this serene setting along a native brook trout stream where nature's sounds prevail. Most every room has wonderful views of the Hazel River and the Appalachian Mountains (Shenandoah NP) beyond. The river's clear waters invite fly fishing, and swimming holes abound as do nearby hiking trails in SNP (favorites, Old Rag and Marys Rock). Noted restaurants are nearby as are many vineyards and antique stores. (County code encourages multi-day [weekly/monthly] stays).

Old Rag Mountain Cabin

Old Rag Cabin is close to hiking trails such as Old Rag Mountain and White Oak Canyon Falls. It is nestled is on 4 secluded, wooded acres in the Blue Ridge mountains. The cabin overlooks a serene pond full of fish. Rose and Robinson rivers are a short walk away. Enjoy hiking, fishing, scenic drives, campfires, wine tasting, civil war battlefields, apple picking, horseback riding and much more. It is the perfect spot for a romantic getaway or a family vacation. Only 90 min drive from D.C. Unplug!

Modern Farmhouse near Shenandoah Nat'l Park + Lake

Enjoy our secluded 1850s solid brick farmhouse. Completely renovated with modern conveniences, including central AC & super fast, Starlink internet. 5 miles from Shenandoah National Park, Luray Caverns. A short walk to Lake Arrowhead. We also own the downtown cafe, Broad Porch Coffee, so are local and can help if you ever need anything. We are family friendly and love dogs, no pet fee. Cozy Madison Home

Welcome to Magdeline Cottage located in the heart of Madison County. The cozy cottage was recently renovated in 2022 and is located within White Oak Lake and sits 10 minutes from the Town of Madison. The property is a short drive to hiking trails near Shenandoah National Park. The property is less than 10 minutes from Bald Top Brewery, Early Mountain, and Renback Barn! The property features a fire pit, outdoor seating, and a large living room for gathering. This is not a party house!

Don’t stay cooped up in a hotel or private room. Get your nature fix staying here at Spring Haven Farm. Enjoy a great view of the pond in all its wonder and night sounds. Above will be the beautiful night sky - with no street lights. Fully-equipped kitchen, or cook outdoors on the provided charcoal grill. Queen bed in bedroom, 2 futons in LR opens to sleep four and a queen air mattress can be called upon to sleep two more. Children under 12 years of age stay free.

Welcome to K-9 Heaven! Enjoy clean, open spaces and joyful moments with our friendly horses—don’t forget the peppermints! Bring your furry friends for an off-leash experience just 20 minutes from Old Rag Mountain, White Oak Falls, and downtown Culpeper, with plenty of hiking trails nearby. We’re also close to delightful wineries and breweries! This unit is not recommended for long tearm Stay for couples as it is a small unit. Check out the Tool Shed for a long-term stay

The Skyhouse- simple & serene w/mountain views

Enjoy the solace and beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains with modern and local comforts. Retreat and explore on this old 100acre farm- via foot- or float on the tiny pond in a kayak or SUP. Or venture out to Shenandoah National Park, the local coffee shops, eateries, wineries, and breweries. Whatever you choose the skyhouse is stocked with roasted coffee, farm-fresh eggs, fresh-baked bread, teas and soaps from our incredible local homesteaders and artisans.

Serenity Lakeview Cottage

Renovated lakefront apartment, downstairs from the main home. It is located on beautiful Greene Mountain Lake with year-round lake and mountain views. Wildlife on the lake includes geese, herons, ducks, osprey, eagles, turtles, and beavers. The setting is serene and peaceful. You will have a private entrance and a covered porch. Kayaks are available for your use on the lake. Unit approved with a Special Use Permit for Tourist Lodging by Greene County.

Perfect little spot for a romantic weekend getaway, or just an escape from the hustle and bustle of a busy life. The Barn is located 10 miles or less from beautiful hiking trails, great trout fishing, wonderful wineries, and excellent dining. Because of our location phone service is spotty, but we provide a signal booster for your phone and the WIFI is Firefly fiber optic. So come on out unwind, unplug, and soak up all this area has to offer.

The Cabin at the Lake

Lake view cabin! 2 bedrooms one bathroom. Close to breweries, wineries, grocery store, and 20 minutes from Shenandoah National Park. You will have everything you need at our home provided for you. We have a canoe and row boat for you to venture out on the water and fishing poles, just bring your tackle, bait and bathing suit! We have high speed internet (100+mbps) at the cabin and a smart Tv! No parties!
