Start & end your day's adventure in Maine's Western Mountains from the comfort of Hostel of Maine (HoME): a boutique Hostel & Inn with a clean, cozy & welcoming atmosphere. We're the perfect home base for mountain bikers, day hikers, skiers, and outdoor enthusiasts of all ages! York Harbor Inn- Country Inn Room

Located on the 2nd & 3rd floors of the Main Inn, Country Inn Rooms are quite small but elegantly appointed. All rooms are individually decorated with (1) queen bed, private baths with shower & standard amenities. These rooms have small bathrooms & dormers over the beds/windows. Rooms include our buffet breakfast & wifi. There is no ocean view but beach is within walking distance. *Not suitable for travel cribs or cots, 2 guests max.* **Please note there are NO ELEVATORS in any of our buildings

This peaceful King Room with a private bath is located on the first floor & has everything you need for your trip! The old beams across the ceiling and huge pine floor boards make this room extra special, not to mention the propane fireplace & stunning views of The Machias River! Antique decor with a touch of Maine in the room help to capture that 1830’s farmhouse vibe. The room is stocked with coffee, linens, & soaps, along with a tray of goodies ready for your arrival! A guest favorite.

Please read check-in instructions—parking, key access & arrival tips are included for a smooth arrival. We suggest researching the area ahead to know what’s nearby and come prepared, as we aren’t always instantly available to reply. Direct ATV/snowmobile trail access with trailer parking. On-site Pub Lounge: Thurs 4–8, Fri 4–10, Sat 12–10 with food, drinks & events. Some sound may carry—no complaints so far, but don’t book if that may be an issue. Ask about private 1920s theater time! 🎬
