The River Room

This peaceful King Room with a private bath is located on the first floor & has everything you need for your trip! The old beams across the ceiling and huge pine floor boards make this room extra special, not to mention the propane fireplace & stunning views of The Machias River! Antique decor with a touch of Maine in the room help to capture that 1830’s farmhouse vibe. The room is stocked with coffee, linens, & soaps, along with a tray of goodies ready for your arrival! A guest favorite.

Please read check-in instructions—parking, key access & arrival tips are included for a smooth arrival. We suggest researching the area ahead to know what’s nearby and come prepared, as we aren’t always instantly available to reply. Direct ATV/snowmobile trail access with trailer parking. On-site Pub Lounge: Thurs 4–8, Fri 4–10, Sat 12–10 with food, drinks & events. Some sound may carry—no complaints so far, but don’t book if that may be an issue. Ask about private 1920s theater time! 🎬

Cottage at The Ivy Manor Inn

Free Standing Cottage (330 sf) located at the Ivy Manor Inn - Village center. Private entrance & off street parking. Hotel style room, no kitchenette. The Inn is located in downtown Bar Harbor on historic Main Street across from the Village Green. Walk to everything the village has to offer. Leave your car safely tucked away in our private parking space while you explore town, or take a quick stroll across the street to catch the Island Explorer into Acadia National Park.

Harbor Crest King Room (Dog Friendly)

The Harbor Crest Inn, located one half mile from our Main Inn, features luxury guest rooms that have been revitalized. This listing is for a 1st floor guestroom with wide doorways and a standard tub/shower in the bathroom. Guests of Harbor Crest can enjoy the many indoor and outdoor common areas. The 1730 Harbor Crest Inn is our only Inn that is dog friendly. Please note we do not offer elevators in any of our buildings.

Black Elephant Hostel: a bed in 8 bed FEMALE DORM

Go Boutique on a Budget! The Black Elephant Hostel is a very vibrant and comfortable space with unique décor. We pride ourselves on being super clean, affordable and friendly. We are one block outside of Old Port and nestled among some of the finest eateries, shopping, and entertainment in Portland. Hey Ladies is a FEMALE ONLY dorm and consists of a 4 twin bunk beds. It has an in suite bath and sleeps up to 8.

We’re a small 1950s boutique motel in a tranquil setting just 1.5 miles outside of downtown Portsmouth and Kittery Foreside. Pull up and park directly in front of your room. In need of some fresh Maine air?
