My Country House

Enjoy a unique blend of modern comfort and authentic African style in our welcoming home. Conveniently located just 1 minute’s drive from the C102 main road, 5 minutes from Kimana town, and 30–40 minutes from Amboseli National Park. The sitting room may be shared during high season, offering a relaxed, social atmosphere. Meals are not provided, but on-site food arrangements can be made upon request. N/B-This is a bedsitter, and shared spaces include a sitting room in a separate area.

A Frame Cottages and huts all self contained.

These accommodation is in Modern Cottages and also in Traditional Grass Thatched Kamba Huts. They are part of a wider project of the AKAMBA CULTURAL CENTER AND MUSEUM. Set up in a twelve acre piece of land there is free music from the Birds which have made the place their home. It is basically rudimentary stay. You can cook your food, wash your clothes, enjoy a bonfire and escape to a secluded area in the vicinity for private time or just plainly commune with Nature.

Orkungu

Orkungu in Maasai language means "house on sloped plain". From a large wooden deck 2 ft above the field you will have spectacular views on Amboseli plains as well as on Kilimanjaro. This container house has two large bedrooms for two couples. If needed a tent with 2 x beds can be added. Outdoor kitchen is fully equipped for 6 persons. A fireplace in front for BBQs. Mission of Orkungu is regeneration, so during your stay you can work-out by digging a "bund" .
