The Old Oke Riverhouse

Augusta Coach House Suite

This is your own private faerieland forest 🌳. You won’t forget your time in this romantic, memorable place. Combined with our twin suite when available, we can host up to 6 people. Winter fireplace and summer 16m pool. Situated on the 1802 Augusta de Mist Country House graded historical monument, this late 19th-century coach house part was of our former historical, sometimes hysterical, guest house. Be amazed. Rosehaven Cottage

Step into the timeless charm of Rosehaven Cottage, a lovingly restored gem from the early 1900s in Swellendam. Our tranquil and beautiful garden is alive with birdsong, and you'll always find beautiful, fresh flower arrangements inside. Relax in the cozy living spaces with their lovely wooden floors. For guests with furry friends, the entire perimeter is dog-proofed. Many say it truly feels like a home away from home. A truly relaxing and welcoming haven awaits.

"ROOIKOP" A HOUSE ON THE BREEDE RIVER ESTUARY

A house on the estuary of a VERY BIG river ie - Lower Breede river - about 15km from the sea, the house is set back about about 15m from the river . It is completely off the grid , ie only solar power and rainwater. It might not suit city dwellers who need every gadget and convenience but its heaven for the hardier ones Please bring bedding and towels . The are pillows and various duvet inners but we don't have a washing machine so we cannot supply linen
