Kalm - Riverside living

Create memories at Kalm, our Breede River retreat in Malgas. The main house sleeps 8 with 3 en-suite bedrooms, open-plan lounge, dining area and fully equipped kitchen with all amenities. Two large patios with braai and pizza oven, large lawns, shaded seating, wood-fired hot tub, volleyball, games and private jetty. Canoes and SUP's are available. The adjacent cottage sleeps 4 and offers extra privacy. Kalm is perfect for families, friends and pets seeking comfort, nature, and river adventures.

A family-friendly studio located next to the river in one of Swellendam’s residential neighbourhoods. The studio boasts magnificent views of the garden and enormous rubber tree, creating a unique treehouse-like experience. You’ll have high-speed WiFi and solar power, perfect for remote working. Want a not-so-in-town feel? Then this is the place for you. The studio is a 5-minute walk to the nearest supermarket/midtown and a 13-minute walk to the old town with quaint restaurants, shops and cafés.

The Old Oke Riverhouse

Come and stay in the first container home in Malgas! Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Rolling lawn and river access, use one of our stand up paddle boards or the Kayak and enjoy the river directly from our jetty. A brand new entertainment section that leads off the outside decking which has comfy chairs, a big braai and separate fire pit is also now available at The Old Oke Riverhouse along with a jetty which has padding to protect your boat. Now with HOT TUB!

Riverdance Cottage (No loadshedding & fresh water)

BEAT THE WINTER BLUES with the new enclosed veranda as well as veranda fireplace and now also indoor fireplace. No LOADSHEDDING! No SALTWATER! The cottage is situated about 30 meters from the main house and 45m from the river. It is elevated and overlooks the BreedeRiver. 2 x two-man canoes are available. There is rainwater to be used as cooking and drinking water. There is a TV in the cottage with Netflix and DSTV Live connected. This is the place to relax and regroup. Enjoy
