Amazing Mountain Views - Peaceful Close to Village

Wake to stunning mountain views from bed at Gentle Presence Cottages! This Cottage offers self-catering for 6 and has been lovingly decorated using a mixture of antiques and modern furnishings to make guests feel right at home. Built in the 1900’s as stables, this Cottage is one of the oldest buildings in Clarens and it's thought that farmers would arrive by ox-wagon before sharing Nagmaal (Holy Communion). There are 2 Cottages on the premises, set apart and with own entrances for privacy.

This Luxury, fully equipped, self catering cottage sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms, each with their own entrance. Hidden in a quiet corner of our working farm it overlooks a pristine section of the Wilge River, with the famous waterfall and Nelson's Kop mountain providing spectacular scenery. Guests will be able to enjoy absolute peace, uninterrupted views and walks in almost every direction. Please note that the property is remote and the last 200m of the access road will require a high clearance vehicle.

Our Cottage is one of three units situated on a prime location, walking distance from the square, and right next to the hiking trails. Our cottage offers 1 bedroom with a double bed, fully equipped kitchenette, lounge area with sleeper couch and outdoor seating area. You are welcome to bring your pets along by prior arrangement as the back area of the cottage has its own fenced off little garden where your pets can play freely. Pet fee = R200 for cleaning
