The Sinclair Suite

This 1 bedroom/1 bath private home was originally a historic Sinclair gas station. Renovated in 2023, we’ve kept as much of the original building’s elements as possible while restoring it to create both a unique and relaxing experience. The bay area has been converted into a living/sleeping space that includes a TV & seating area as well as two queen-sized beds and a sleeper sofa. The former office space now features a full kitchen. A back patio, firepit, washer & dryer are all located on site.

Garden House Retreat

Welcome to our Garden House. We once converted our garage to outfit a coffee roaster and have since curated the space into a cozy apartment nestled between garden beds. What a fulfilling DIY project! Here you will find modern day comforts mixed with finishing touches from days of old. Enjoy our eclectic sensibility and settle in for simple delights. A bath before bed and great coffee in the morning are some of our best bits. Stay for the night or for a while. We hope you relax in our calm space.

The Chief Cabin at The Lazy Buffalo portrays the life of the Great Comanche Chief Quanah Parker. His original Star House which is on the National Register of Historic Places is less than a mile away. Nestled at the foothills of the mountains and 3 miles from the entrance to the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge, The Lazy Buffalo offers 13 individually themed cabins.
