A quiet farmyard. It is situated half mile North of Neubergthal-a national Heritage site. The Red Granary was a building used for storing grain, and it was red and it had green doors. It is an original style from the early 1900’s We live on the same farmyard with 4 dogs and farm animals. But we each have our own space. Whether a guest wants to interact or wants privacy, both are easily attainable and respected. You MUST register your dog as a guest. (Dogs cannot be left alone in the Granary)

Many guests have told us we are living their dream life. The country side here is beautiful, peaceful, and interesting. Our home is built by my husband and is unique in many ways. See the photos with the many notes to have a full explanation of all our amenities. Guests have total privacy with a private entrance to their spacious lower level suite. Three acre gated property. We are happy to interact if guests need or want anything; and we will also respect your privacy totally.

PETE’S PLACE

Farm Cottage near Steep Rock. Cottage is 7 km (6-8 min drive) to the village of Steep Rock, and is a paved highway (currently under construction 2026) It's a great area for canoeing, kayaking, and boating on the lake, swimming and photography. Cottage has a deck with a BBQ, and a fire pit and hammocks in the yard. In Winter you can cross country ski or snowshoe on the property. Occasionally you can see the northern lights, generally in Winter. There is now also a sauna for guests.
