Waterfront and close to Granite Peak. Lake feel. In the City of Wausau on the Wis River in a quiet neighborhood with an up north feel. Summer kayaks and paddle boat available . Dock out back for your boat. So much to do. And downtown Wausau 4 minutes away. Fall has changing of the leaves. Winter we are 10 min to Granite Peak ski hill. Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Relax or keep busy with a list of events and places provided in a folder at the cottage .

My place is quiet, serene and private, and secluded. Hear the rooster crow or collect your own eggs for your breakfast. If you are looking for a relaxing river retreat then Plover River Pines is the right place for you! It is located in a rural area, but has 5 surrounding towns within 20 miles or so. Our favorite things to do here are kayaking, swimming, trout fishing, sitting by the fire, and enjoying the nature.
