You can sit, unwind, and watch the wildlife with a distant view of Bald Knob Cross. The cabin sits in the heart of Shawnee National Forrest and the Southern IL wine trail. You can enjoy the fire pit while watching the stars, with no distractions from neighbors, traffic, or lights. You can enjoy catch & release fishing from the bank

Here you and your companion(s) can experience the quiet and relaxing life on a farm with plenty of adventure awaiting just around the bend. Sit and enjoy a sip of coffee or tea on the front porch while watching the cattle graze the pasture across the road next to a rustic white barn or venture about 3 miles to the largest privately owned lake in Madison County. Enjoy catch and release fishing on site, local wineries, shopping in historic downtown Cape Girardeau, local restaurants, gambling, historical sites & more!

Enjoy a comfortable stay at this unique lakeside retreat. This home offers two bedrooms and one bathroom. Start your day with coffee and a view of the lake. You’ll stay a short drive from several surrounding conservation sites. Bring your fishing pole and kayak! End your day relaxing by the fire pit and watching the sunset on the lake. Cozy new built cabin on a bend of the beautiful Black River. You’ll walk up the 14 stairs to a large screened in covered deck with hot tub and sitting area, and gas grill. The glass doors and windows allow you views of the river. The theme throughout is Indian-Aztec. Accommodates only two adults. If you’re looking for a peaceful/romantic get away this is the perfect place. Located approximately 2 hours south of St. Louis, and less than 15 minutes from Poplar Bluff, MO.
