Welcome to the cozy and rustic big farm house! Walk in to an inviting scene with everything you need including fridge, microwave, coffee pot, dishes, washer & dryer, TV and more. In the fridge you will find farm fresh eggs & coffee! You’ll be pleasantly surprised with the unique decor and original wood floors. Enjoy the views of the sunrise on the pasture with a few beautiful grazing cow calf pairs. It is a perfect place for a peaceful escape in the country on a real working farm.

The Grain Bin Lodge and Retreat

Sorry, no children under the age of 12. This large grain bin has been converted into a rustic two story getaway using reclaimed barn wood and many antiques. The 700 square foot main floor includes a full bath, a vintage retro kitchenette (micro wave, toaster, coffee maker, refrigerator/freezer, NO OVEN), reclining love seat, a smart tv with WIFI and Direct TV, along with a large dining area with 2 tables. The 500 square foot open loft area includes one full bed and 2 queen beds.

The Sumner House 2

Enjoy this two story cozy home with one queen size bedroom on the main floor, front parlor, full kitchen, living room, and a spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower step up to the second level where you’ll find a master suite with a queen size bed, a sitting area and a beautiful bathroom with a jetted bathtub. Also on the second level as you walk up the steps turn to your right, and you will find another space with a set of twin beds.

Close to Dordt University and several attractions

We are close to Dordt University within walking distance. Close to the All Seasons Center which has an indoor/outdoor pool and also the indoor hockey rink. The bike trails and local park are within walking distance(we have 2 bikes you can use). Downtown is very close with several coffee shops, a mall, and several restaurants. We live in a quiet neighborhood. We have 2 grocery stores and a Walmart if you happen to forget anything.

The Block Studio-202

Spend your stay in a little history at The Block. Built in 1911 by John Groth, this studio apartment has elements of the original John Deere and later Ford factory including the original hardwood flooring, brick wall, and high ceilings. Most of the furnishings are comprised of reclaimed lumber from the dismantled car elevator. Historic photos of the building are throughout the common hallways for a trip back in time.
