‘The Old P.O’ Homestay, Finch Hatton

Cute renovated Queenslander, old but comfy. Short walk to the Pub, Convenience store and creek.. you will be close to everything Finch Hatton has to offer. A short 3 min drive to amazing swimming holes and only 5 mins to pristine rainforest walks. 10 minutes up the hill to Eungella National Park which is the best known spot in the world to see a Platypus. The home is 2 bedroom with a Queen Bed and 2 Singles. It has one bathroom and 2 toilets. A BBQ and patio out the back for entertaining.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally located home on the main street of North Mackay. Step out the gate to the beautiful Gooseponds walk, which will take you past a skate park, exercise stations, playgrounds and the community pool , Taverns 500m either way from the front door, convenience/takeaway store across the street. It's all there. The home is fully equipped with a cleared clean space for you to enjoy. Relax on the back deck lounge or enjoy dinner outside on the bar style setting.

Homely peaceful Country Retreat

Clean, tidy, spacious, quiet studio style apartment with private entrance. Views to lush tropical garden and salt water pool. This little gem is located at the gateway to the picturesque pioneer valley, easy 20 minutes drive to the Base Hospital and 90 minutes to Airlie Beach. 58 km to the Eungella national park, 35 km to popular Finch Hatton gorge and 25 km to barramundi stocked Kinchant Dam. Walking distance to shopping centre and riverside coffee shop. Additional $10/night fee for EV cars.

The Garden Shed

Once a 1950's built carport, now a cosy cabin within a garden. It's unique, it's artistic, it oozes creativity and it was built almost entirely by us. The main room features a comfortable queen bed, a Smart TV, mini fridge, microwave, coffee machine, toaster and kettle, and a few other appliances. Through the french doors your find a small outdoor cooking station, sink and a bar. A few metres further into the heart of the garden you have your own cute little pergola with a table for two.

This room has the views! Unwind and relax in this modern space that provides you with all the comforts from home. Featuring a kitchenette, you'll find preparing meals a breeze. We are a short 10 min drive to Cape Hillsborough beach to experience the wallabies at Sunrise.! Our holiday units offer an affordable beach holiday with our self contained units & apartment, enjoy a cold drink and relax in the rear gardens while preparing a meal in our fully equipped outdoor kitchen, all set within a relaxed intimate setting.

My place is close to great views and plenty of wildlife. It is great for romantic getaways or exploring the rainforest to see birds, platypus in the creek at Broken River or just to hang out. The name "Eungella" means "land of cloud" so when you wake up in the morning you will likely be surrounded by thick cooling cloud which clears by about 9am to a beautiful sunny day with the wildlife just waiting to be discovered! Eungella is over an hour from Mackay.

The ultimate family holiday destination! Are you looking to relax and unwind or experience the Wallabies at sunrise on Cape Hillsborough beach?
