Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located characteristic place. You are in the countryside, in a rural area. You can walk to the lake (Markermeer) and have a swim. There are some restaurants, the famous cheese-market and you can rent a boat to see Edam through te canals. You can visit beautiful old villages near by on our bikes. In twenty kilometers you are in Amsterdam city. There is a very good connection by bus, it takes twenty minutes. A comfortable chance to visit the museums.

De tuin is volledige omheind Papenveer is een knus, huisje voorzien van een moderne keuken en volledig ingerichte badkamer én 2 slaapkamers. Aan de Westzijde van het eiland nabij de bossen en het strand met vrij uitzicht over de weilanden, de duinen en het kerkje van Den Hoorn. Hazen, buizerds, kiekendieven en uilen komen regelmatig een kijkje nemen bij Heidehof. ‘s Avonds geniet je hier van de mooiste sterrenhemel van Nederland, warm gehouden door het houtvuur in de vuurplaats.
