The beach is sandy with no sea wall & perfect for swimming! The beach and dock are shared with 3 other cabins. The suite is also centrally located in Northern Michigan... only 30 min - 1 hr from Traverse City, Charlevoix, Petoskey, Gaylord, Grayling and Cadillac, making it the perfect home base for day trips to area attractions!

Welcome to our cozy cottage just across the street from Houghton Lake! Enjoy the nicest street on the lake, with lake views from the living room, dining room/kitchen, & the additional family room. Enjoy a glass of wine watching sunset from the large front deck and Amish seating. Lake access is a block away. Small boats may launch there. ORV trailhead is very close (we ride to the trailhead from the cottage), plus snowmobile trails, and state land. Public boat launch under 3 miles away.
