Da Knob on Lake Independence

Enjoy beautiful Lake Independence 25-30 miles NW of Marquette, MI with a 3-bedroom lake cottage right on the southside of the lake with a sandy beach (217 ft) and dock. Pontoon not included, but there is an open boat slip on our dock (mid-June through mid-October). 2 kayaks are included. Some of the best UTV and snowmobiling trails along with backcountry snowmobiling in the U.P. are right in your backdoor. Fish for walleye, perch, pike, and bass on Lake Independence in the summer or winter!

The River House is a two bedroom cottage on the Chocolay River in Marquette, Michigan. It is adjacent to a bike path and walkway that runs through Marquette County, along the shore of Lake Superior. This cozy cottage has a deck and sun room with a view of the river, and is close to beaches, marinas, and the beautiful city of Marquette. The River House is a comfortable, peaceful retreat. Out of respect for our neighbors, we cannot accommodate snow mobiles on the property.

The Captain's Residence: Lighthouse & Lake Views!

Welcome to the Captain’s Residence! This unique historic rental is located on the grounds of Lighthouse Park in Marquette, Michigan, a small peninsular park that juts out into Lake Superior and is capped by the iconic red Marquette Harbor Light. This property is surrounded on three sides by Lake Superior and is the easternmost home in the City! Historically, this home was the residence of Coast Guard Captains of years past until the property was given to the City.

A quaint resort with 5 cottages on the shore of a beautiful spring fed lake, great for all water sports, including boating, fishing, etc. Relax by your campfire and picnic table with a fresh caught fish on your charcoal grill. Snowmobile right off our property (or on the lake) onto state trails, also used for bicycles, dirt bikes and 4x4s. This is a favorite area for hunters, perfect for family gatherings and romantic getaways. We are pet friendly.
