Looking for a remote cabin for a romantic getaway or a relaxing time in the big north woods? Ellen’s Cabin is off-grid, has no running water and limited cell service. 1/2 mile from a dirt road and the North Country Trail, in the rugged Michigamme Highands, close to Silver Lake and Dead River Basins. There are lots of opportunities for biking, hiking, fishing and canoeing. A winter wonderland if skiing or snowshoeing are your passions. We are 45 minutes from Ishpeming and an hour from Marquette.

Random Point is a quiet, isolated oasis on a private, 300 ft beach cove on Lake Superior with a trout pond and 10 wooded acres. Both rentals and the outdoor sauna have stunning views of the Lake. This enchanted location is 5 miles from downtown Mqt with easy access to the University, restaurants, shops, hiking & biking trails. Enjoy this lakeside cabin just five minutes from downtown Marquette. Enjoy stunning views along miles of open sand beach and dunes. Nestled amongst towering red pine and white pine. Let the waves of Lake Superior lull you to sleep at night. Depending on the season use the paddle boards, canoe or just walk the shoreline. Sit around the campfire and watch the sun set over the lake. There is a small pond for ice skating in winter (when conditions are right) or use the paddleboat in summer.

Spring brings day trips to beautiful waterfalls. Fall brings hunting to mind. Plenty of wooded areas for bird and deer hunting.
