Outdoor amenities abound, with a pickleball court, 2 paddleboards, rowboat, & firepits at the beach & lagoon. Enjoy a scenic 1 hour drive to Olympic National Park, or watch for porpoises, otters and the resident bald eagles from the couch.

Historic Discovery Bay Beach Cabin Stunning Views

Experience healing and peace with the sound of gentle waves on Discovery Bay. Our cabin was built in 1939 by our grandfather who was an early businessman in Port Townsend. He wisely recognized for decades to come this would be a prized place of rest, enjoyed by 5 generations. Our two kayaks for beginners and new paddle board are available for rent. Explore the unbelievable beauty of the Olympic National Park just a few miles away featuring hiking to rainforests, glaciers, and mountain lakes.

Set between Whidbey Island and Washington's mainland, beautiful Camano Island can be reached by car. With over 56 miles of beaches, boating, salmon fishing, clamming and crabbing are bountiful. The unique appeal of Camano Island is that it offers visitors a real-life island experience, including a strong arts scene. Recreational activities such as biking are popular here. The island is also home to Camano Island State Park, which boasts 173 acres prime for camping, hiking and bird watching.

Once tucked back into the woods, this newly improved 1920s cabin now enjoys a front-row seat to the grandeur of the Hood Canal thanks to a tidal creek that has washed away the sandy soil that once supported the departed trees. Our family has lived here since the late 1800's, and we just completed a wonderful new guest cottage sitting on the high bank with 180-degree views of Saratoga Passage, Mount Baker, and the North Cascades. With 900 square feet of open living area, a fireplace, full kitchen, washer/dryer, king size bed, high speed internet, 2 TV's, beautiful furnishings and easy access to the beach it's the perfect get-away!

Located just south of Silverdale, this peaceful log cabin can be yours for the evening. Literally steps from the Puget Sound, you will sleep like a baby listening to the sound of the ocean waves and breeze through your window. Conveniently 10 minutes to the Bremerton/ Seattle ferry, and close to hiking trails and recreation in the Olympic Mountains. We have local recommendations available, and mooring options for boats.
