What we love about the place are the soft sounds, serenity, and sublte but substantial emotions that are fueled by the surrounding nature and healing and cleansing navigable river. if you are a steward of the river and promise to treat her with respect , you are welcome to book your stay. It's out in the country but close enough to town ( 10 mins to San Marcos, and you can take back roads! The eco friendly landscape is amazing and it’s sustained with our rain collectors.

"Right on the river, spacious, and great pool for the kids." That's what a guest said about Hilco, our riverfront estate in Martindale. In the morning, your kids head down to the dock while grandparents settle in to watch from the gazebo above. Evenings move up the bank: fire pit, hot tub, dinner under the gazebo. Sleeps 24: four bedrooms in the main house, a bunk bed in one casita, two bunks and a daybed with a trundle, with dining, live music, and shopping close by.
