Fern Hill Cottage ~ With Hot Tub~ Nature~

Experience the tranquility of rural Pennsylvania with a stay at our serene cabin, nestled on 20 acres of land that's home to deer, turkey, and bear. The cabin features a relaxing hot tub and an outside fire ring. There's plenty to explore nearby, with the Thousand Steps just a short 15-minute drive away. Raystown Lake, East Broad Top Railroad, and Juniata River for fishing and canoeing are all within a convenient 25-minute drive. This cabin offers the perfect base for your Pennsylvania escape.

Orchard Guesthouse

Private, cozy cottage - lots of extras. Stocked with carefully chosen non‑toxic body & laundry products, free from harsh chemicals & artificial fragrances. Wake up after a comfortable night's sleep to a breakfast of eggs from our chickens, prepared in a well-appointed kitchen. After a day of sightseeing relax on the patio with a glass of wine & watch the sunset. Close to shopping, restaurants, UPMC Hospital, PSU Altoona, Horseshoe Curve, Canoe Creek, 40 minutes to PSU, 2 miles to I 99 & US 22.

Cozy Cabin With Outdoor Hot Tub

Self check for convenience Tiny cabin with all you need squeezed into it for pleasant stay. It is located on a secluded property not far (5 miles) from major interstates. It is a small guest house across the lawn from our house where my wife and I live. It has window AC and wifi available. Free continental breakfast foods provided. (There is no kitchen) Cleaned to perfection ! We do spray for bugs but it is not unusual to see some spiders and bugs since the cabin is right against the woods.

Atop a meandering mountain road, this unique chalet has treetop views, a 30-foot-high living room, and a open bedroom with a king bed. Lots of natural light filters in from skylights and windows. A spiral staircase adjoins both decks. The lower level has a relaxing hot tub with a privacy wall and patio furniture. A cable railing incloses the deck for an unobstructed view of nature.

Flight 93 memorial, and many others.

We have extensively remodeled this special home and brought it forward from the 1960s while maintaining its character, including the original wrought iron railing and open vaulted living room. We've also incorporated some elements of Altoona's history into the home. It's the perfect cozy and welcoming space to rest and relax whether traveling for work, visiting family, or exploring the beautiful surrounding area.
