There is direct access to the sea for paddle boarding, wind surfing or sailing in the bay. Return to the cottage to an open fire. The extensive grounds also allow for simple walks or yoga. The cottage retains some of it's 19th century charm but has been renovated to be a practical and comfortable home.

Welcome to Heima - Norse for 'at home'. Guests have exclusive use of their own entrance, bathroom, relaxing bedroom and own garden. The separate Breakfast Room has panoramic views. From 18.00-22.00, it is available for carry-in meals with the Sitting Room which has a log fire. Heima is a 19th Century cottage with a 21st Century extension. Hilary and Edward have strong family roots in Orkney. You can expect to be hosted generously with a light touch in the quiet beauty of Orkney.

Offering WiFi, television, and off-road parking for one car. Also, with the new addition of a woodburning stove, you will certainly not be cold! Ideally situated for exploring the north of Sutherland and Caithness, this area is popular for walking, fishing, surfing, golfing and has one of the most beautiful beaches in the area!

Berriscue House is a beautiful, bespoke cottage - located in the centre of Thurso, hidden away from the world with a large walled garden and private entrance. Five minute walk from the beach. Everything you need for a cosy Scottish retreat! If booking the same day after 6pm please message as it may still be possible to book. The area is full things to see and do including, fishing on the River Naver, walking, surfing and cycling, with castles and historic places around. In summer you can enjoy the long summer evenings with daylight until after 11pm The house is located on the far North Coast of Scotland and is an ideal stop off on the NC 500 route.
