This 3BR/2BA home is located in the historic district of the Mattapoisett center. It's 1 block to the wharf, a 2 blocks to the library and a 5 blocks to the town beach. It also backs up to Center School's basketball courts, tennis/pickleball courts and playground. By car, you are 15 minutes from New Bedford, a town known for its fishing, whaling and seafood industries. In New Bedford, you can also grab a ferry to Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket for the day. Boston is also an hour drive away.

Two sunny, spacious bedrooms are located upstairs, and the kitchen and bathroom are downstairs. It's a short stroll down to the sandy and private association beach on Buzzards Bay.

When it is cold out side, enjoy parks, museums, arts and cultural events, with evenings spent enjoying hot chocolate in front of the gas stove as the fire blazes providing a cozy warmth.

Our Buzzard Bay getaway (@buzzbaygetaway) is nestled along nearly 100 feet of your very own private beach, boasting breathtaking ocean views from every corner. This coastal gem provides an idyllic retreat with panoramic views of Brandt Island, West Island, and extending all the way to Falmouth and the Elizabeth Islands. The backyard is perfect for outdoor dining and family fun, complete with a barbecue grill, picnic table, and fire pit.

Studio Apartment w/sm Kitchen

Studio apartment that is well suited for a couple and young family. Children under twelve years of age will not be charged the extra fee. There is an added fee for extra adults over 2. This is a small space for 3 adults. This is our own home in which the studio apartment is above the garage. This was added for our daughter who attended a local college. She live there for 5 years while attending college.
