Relaxing Country Getaway- come hike or just R&R

This is an eclectic space that was a former art studio. The artist who lives just next door, keeps a private working studio in the loft. Although it is inaccessible to our guests, you will see her art on the walls and her creative side in the large lady shown in the pictures. Firepit and wood available. 5 hiking trails on 300 acres! Nov7-Dec 7th we will have hunters and trails may not be available Important: please read the house rules before booking with pets. We do also have a pet fee.

Milk House Cottage & Gardens

Cozy elegance in a "real" refurbished farm Milk House Cottage surrounded by gardens with an attached private patio and convenient self-check in keypad. Located within a Quaker & Old-World Amish area. Our country oasis has a cascading valley and big skies views, amid embracing seasonal gardens. Close to southeast Ohio's recreation, hiking, dining, history, and loads of serenity. The Milk House Cottage is a great venue to just unwind. A favorite venue for a friend's getaway or special occasion.

The Farmhouse on S. 5th (Family-Business-Hunters)

The Farmhouse at 169 South 5th, is located in historic McConnelsville, Ohio. Located just two blocks from downtown, & just across from the Cornerstone South church, & overlooking the Muskingum River. This Farmhouse was completely restored to its current charm in the spring of 2017. You will find it fully furnished, & ready for a pleasant "home away from home"! McConnelsville is known for its rich history, & is home to the famous Twin City Opera House, among many other interesting landmarks.

Seven Oaks Cabin

I welcome you to Seven Oaks Cabin. It is a place of well-being for individuals who like to connect with nature while staying in a primitive cabin away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The interior consists of a variety of wood-eastern white pine, cedar and cherry. The living area has furniture made by local Amish, septic system for flush toilet, instant hot water, small bedroom with bunk bed (full mattress on bottom/ twin on top), efficiency kitchen, and loft with queen mattress.

Route 60 Getaway

Route 60 Getaway is at 5226 N St Rt 60 NW, McConnelsville. Located along State Route 60, 2 miles north of McConnelsville. It is located above our families landscaping business. It is not in a secluded area (due to businesses nearby) however, you will not be disturbed!! You will find it fully furnished, & ready for a pleasant "home away from home"! There is currently a guest in the apartment below the house. However you will not be disturbed and their are no shared spaces outside!

The Retreat at Fox Lake

The retreat at Fox Lake is a newly constructed 1+ bedroom house featuring a private back deck and hot tub! This home has a bedroom with a king-sized bed and an additional room with a fold-out futon. Features include eclectic art, reclaimed materials, glass enclosed gas fireplace, Starlink high speed wifi, on-site parking and direct access to Fox Lake and more! This is the perfect retreat for a couple, a few friends or small family. The vibe is earthy, textured, cozy and modern.

Located on 60 acres of private property with access to hiking trails throughout the property surrounded by 7,632 acres of Wayne National Forest with Wildcat Hollow Hiking Trail and Burr Oak Lake State Park. Also near Tecumseh Trails Offroad and Baileys Trail System MTB. “NO GLITTER” 21 year old minimum age limit Steep gravel driveway AWD/4WD vehicles recommended Our cabin is not suitable for infants/children No pets

Wabash Cabin

The Wabash Cabin, nestled in the rolling hills of Southeastern Ohio, is in the heart of the Region’s outdoor playground. This unique property offers private hunting privileges on 160 acres. It is also the perfect get away for couples, family, and friends. Hunting rates are $125 per night, per person, and include privileges to hunt on the property. Vacation/Leisure rates are $125 per night for up to 4 people, more than 4 people $20 per night per person.

The Historic Hideaway

Historic building on the Square. Directly in front of new (and soon to be famous) "Locks of Love" Sculpture. Close to everything including restaurants, parks, shopping. Quaint and pleasant setting. Former Bank Building built in 1900. It is like stepping back in time. Beautiful town along the River. Easy access to parks for hunting and fishing. Kitchen is fully stocked. Come and enjoy the town and express your love with a lock on the heart!

Remington Run~Relaxation/Nature/Hunting/Hiking

A beautiful slice of country living at it's best. Skillfully handcrafted by our local Amish and my husband, our cabin is a cool little place to relax and unwind. Perfect for nearby public hunting, a relaxing retreat, or little adventures. Remington Run is a get away from it all kind of place. Watch the morning sun rise, explore the woods, spot wildlife, or visit nearby recreation land where you can hike, bike, fish, & hunt. We sit on 15 acres.

Relax in nature - near Ohio State Parks

Sandstone Point is close to McConnelsville restaurants/dining, The Wilds, AEP Recreation Land and has great views. You’ll love the location because of the outdoors space, comfy beds and the ambiance. The home is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups. Come relax in the clean country air, and take in the beautiful sunrise each morning.

River R&R

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Start your day watching the sun come up over the river. Maybe take your boat and head out on one of the best stretches of the Muskingum River. Or spend the day relaxing in the hammock in the sunroom. Play some Cornhole with our set in the sunroom. Have fire in the riverside fire pit and cook some hotdogs for the kids.
