North Country Cottage

This beautiful, recently renovated home is out in the country down a dead-end road, but still only a few miles from the town of Ladysmith. It is about a mile from a little county park on the Dairyland Reservoir, only a few miles from the local golf course, and just down the road from hopping on the snowmobile trail in the winter. There is a boat landing at the park for summer and access to ice fishing in the winter. We hope to earn 5*s and look forward to hosting you! State License #VJAS-BCCLDB

Relax with the whole family or some friends at this peaceful place to stay. Kayak, fish, and swim in the lakes. Sit around the fire, play yard games, rest in the hammock, or watch a movie. There are plenty of ways to keep the kids active inside and outside. This cabin includes a game table, sandbox, board/card games, art supplies, kayaks, row boat, and fishing poles. Make many memories together skipping rocks, catching fireflies, eating smores, taking in the beautiful views, and sharing laughs.

Cozy home features warm lighting & paint colors and creative Northwoods decorating with a modern touch. Amenities include high speed internet, stainless appliances, coffee maker, front load washer and dryer, streaming services/Apple TV, 3 flat screen TV's, 2 fireplaces , central AC and a high efficiency furnace. The home is situated on 4 wooded acres (not lakefront) off a well maintained gravel road. Very private. No neighbors in sight. Wildlife is abundant. Dogs are OK w/approval & fee.

Shallow river is home to bass, crawfish, frogs, & turtles w/eagle sightings! Cabin is a loft design with a queen bed, & two twins (not a lot of privacy). Close to ATV trails with Country store & bar/food about 1 mile. Near Lake Holcombe, & surrounding areas. Base price is for 2 guests. The Eagle's nest is an adjacent unit (sleeps 6). You will have the entire upstairs to yourself during your stay, including a bedroom with a queen size bed, a bathroom with shower, and an open concept kitchen, dining area, living room, and work desk. You'll also have your own private entrance and free off street parking in the back of the house.

Pooh’s Hideout is a unique, small cabin nestled beside Owl’s House. Fully insulated & heated, it stays cozy in winter & cool in summer with AC. Inside, you'll find a handcrafted futon that converts into a full-size bed with storage. The shared full bathroom with a shower is just 50 yards away in the barn. Relax indoors or unwind in the shared open-air pavilion. Enjoy evenings by one of our firepits or cook on the gas grill. A peaceful place with rustic charm—perfect for nature lovers!

Reconnect with nature, history, & yourself as you explore central Wisconsin in this adorable log cabin nestled in between two lakes. Available all year round, this property includes access to a private 55-acre lake (North Harper Lake) with a screened-in deck, two piers, multiple watercraft, and a raft. Directly across Rustic Road 1 is a public boat launch and beach on South Harper Lake. Countless hiking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, UTV, & biking trails are only a few miles away.

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). The home is only 2 blocks from bars and restaurants and less than 5 blocks from Historic Downtown Wausau. (Must walk up a handful of outdoor stairs) Unique, peaceful, and affordable - Daniel’s Place is 3 blocks from the Riverlife walking path, leading directly to downtown, and 3 miles away from Granite Peak Ski Resort. Daniel’s Place is the perfect spot for weekend ski trips, city biking, trying local restaurants, farmers markets, kayaking, and exploring the city of Wausau. Come make yourself at home 🙂
