Welcome to 'Tales of 1943' A property where 3-generations of my family were raised and today has been converted & renovated with modern and stylish interiors and amenities for you to experience. Located in the heart of Shillong city, this independent Assam-type home has been around for more than 80 years and is perfect for anyone looking for an escape. With timber-framed walls, slanting roofs, wooden floors, and a cozy fireplace in each room, this home is the perfect encapsulation of Shillong.

The Home Stay - Suite

You are at this charming, one-of-a-kind place in the city, spacious, quiet and a little away from the crowd. The Home Stay has 1 queensize bed, & 3 comfy sofas cum beds that turns into a second double bed + 1 single bed. For a 4 + 3 booking, our guests can book the 2nd property, at The Home Stay and can be accessed through the link - airbnb.com/h/the-home-stay-studio. The pool is a rainwaterharvesting unit and fresh water may not be available/feasible for swimming purposes all the time!

Green View Bungalow

The independent Bungalow is located in the outskirts of the town in peaceful and quiet gated community. It's surrounded by green hills and it's a refreshing place to stay. Its near LARITI international Centre. It's advisable to have your own or hired car as taxis are scarce. It's accessible to all tourists spots. To avoid traffic one can take the Shillong Bye pass to reach the place. It's has a nice restaurant and eating places nearby. It's good for family and groups. It has private parking.

Heritage House in Shillong

Located about 5 kms fr main city, guests can enjoy their stay in a place a little away from town which is easily accessible by 4 or 2 wheeler. Guests have absolute privacy as only one home is located in the property. To make their visit more adventurous, guests can explore scenic places of their choice on Cycles or E-Cycles which can be rented out fr this facility

But then again you find it too cumbersome to try out? Look no further, We can make your dream come true.

Latngenlang Cottage

This stylish place to stay is perfect for a couple and a family of 3. The cottage is located in a one acre property overlooking a pine grove and fruit trees( plum, peach and pear ) to the south, a meadow and hills in the backdrop to the east. It is a cosy, spacious room with an indoor fireplace , kitchen cum dining with all appliances. The wooden floors in the bedroom, kitchen and deck add to the ambience of the rustic surroundings. Water is sourced from a spring within the premises.

Emi Homestay Mawlynnong

Emi Homestay is located at the heart of Mawlynnong village, the cleanest village in Asia. The homestay have 2 rooms, one in the ground floor which can accomodate 2 guests and the other room is in the first floor which can accomodate 2 or 3 people with a seperate bath room each room . Emi homestay is surrounded by greeneries of Mawlynnong. Guests can visit the Sky view point which is about 2 minutes walk from West corner homestay. It takes 30-50 minutes to travel to Dawki by a car.

The villa is ideal for those who want a quiet holiday away from the hustle bustle to enjoy the peace and quiet. The rate listed here is per bedroom. Additional cost is charged based on total number of guest or number of bedrooms requested. Each BR is for 2 adults max. We have 3 separate living areas with a total of 5 bedrooms + 5 bathrooms.

Luxury Villa located on the cliffs of Meghalaya offering amazing and unmatched views of the green lush valleys and best sunrise and sunset views from our villa. We have a professional buttler to serve you delicious food. We also arrange Picnic Lunch and Romantic Dinner on prior request. Major places like - Shillong Peak is 20 mins drive from here, Laitlum is 15 mins drive, Cherapunjee is 40 mins drive & Jowai is around 45-50 mins drive from here.
