Gethin Lodge close to Bikepark Wales and Beacons

Gethin Lodge is a perfect location for your visit to Bikepark Wales, Brecon Beacons and 4 falls. We are 2 mins walk to the train/bus station, 10 mins ride to the Bikepark and 20 minute drive to Pen y Fan. Large supermarket 2 mins walk away. We can accommodate up to 8 guests with secure bike storage. If you require additional space we have a second property 2 mins walk away, sleeping up to 8 guests (Gethin View). Bike hire and guided rides around the Brecon Beacons are available on request.

Dare Valley Country Park is a pleasant 2 mile walk away and there are other walks from the door although none are obvious so please ask for details.

Halfway between Cardiff City Centre and Pen y Fan, we are ideally suited for a weekend in the bright lights of Cardiff, or the stunning dark skies of the Beacons. Locally we are within walking distance to several cosy pubs that serve food, a convenience store and the Taff Trail Cycle Path.

Cwm Farm Cwtch, is a homely cottage set on a farm in Pontsticill, Merthyr Tydfil. You can enjoy the fantastic views and scenery, take a walk around our farm and interact with the animals (donkeys, chickens, dogs). Situated in the Brecon Beacons National Park, The Cwtch is in a perfect location for a number of activities, e.g Brecon Mountain Railway, Bikepark Wales, Morlais Golf Course, River fishing and lots more. There are a number of pubs in the village that serve food and local beers.

Ty Cartrefol used to our family home, hence the name Ty Cartrefol, the welsh name for Homely House. We believe that we can provide a welsh home from home experience for those are looking for it as well as a wonderful base for cyclists, walkers, tourists and families alike. We are in a residential area however we are are in the perfect location for our guests to experience Bike Park Wales, the Taff Trail and the beauty of the Brecon Beacons and so many other great places.

This bright and modern old miners cottage is a self contained home which includes 3 bedrooms and a practical bathroom on the first floor. Meanwhile the ground floor contains a kitchen and a large living/dining area with lots of light. The garden includes a lock up area for 6 bikes, where padlocks can be added as well as a place to sit to have a drink and relax. WIFI is FREE! We are perfectly located for Bike Park Wales, Brecon Beacons, Merthyr Rising, etc.
