Multiple access points to the Grand Mesa, the ultimate outdoor playground for snowmobiling, hiking, motorcycling, ATVs, UTVs, fishing & hunting! Extra parking for motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, or snowmobiles! YMR permits guests to bring one furbaby without pre-approval ($100 pet fee still applies). Enjoy the bright, modern indoor space with vaulted ceilings, wood floors, and custom metal-work or head out to the balcony overlooking peach orchards and the unique geography of the Grand Valley.

Sunshine Cottage

Live like a local in our cozy little cottage! We renovated a garage which is located by our house on 10 acres of land and recently put in a seating area with Pergola. Our land is south facing on a mesa with a beautiful view of the mountains. We grow 5 acres of medicinal herbs, vegetables and berries. Lots of coming and going on the farm so hopefully you like people and be prepared for a lot of activity. Looking forward to hosting you:)

Fruita is known for its world-famous mountain biking trails, and Desert’s Edge is centrally located to all the action, but we hope to highlight more Fruita attractions for you to explore during your stay.

It boasts boasts a good-sized kitchen, concrete counter tops, large kitchen sink, bathroom vessel sink, and ambient yard area with sails for shade. CMU & the Tabaguache Trail system are minutes away. Downtown GJ, the library, convention center, parks, Avalon Theater, & several churches are a short walk away.
