Nestled in a quiet little mtn town, the gateway to Grand Mesa with a wild horse herd in its "backyard", near Powderhorn skiing, world class bike trails and wine tasting. The cottage was built right after The Depression but before WWII-a unique architectural "moment in time" It's been lovingly restored and still has many original features like the 1941 Montgomery Wards Catalog kitchen cabinets. Crawford on the Hill

This delightful little home has been recently remodeled and will provide a cozy living space for up to eight guests. We are 5 minutes to Crawford Reservoir State Park and short 20-minute drive to the north rim of the Black Canyon, a must see. Crawford is a part of the “North Fork Valley Creative District” along with Hotchkiss and Paonia. There are many art galleries, wineries and orchards to explore in these areas, so be sure to plan some fun excursions to these unique establishments.

WE ARE PERFECTLY LOCATED ON HIGHWAY 50 , NOT INTERSTATE 70 (we run parallel to/Interstate-70, 15 minutes from any exits), within a secured, gated 3/4 fenced property, 7 min. to downtown Grand Junction. Two queen beds, couch, futon, large reclining chair, E-Z Up portable self rise queen bed, two sleep pads, full kitchen, 3/4 bath w/hot shower, ample parking. What sets us apart: We are located in a private, wooded neighborhood in the center of town on .6 of an acre. This quaint and charming cottage is fresh, clean, and super cozy. There is a private patio and section of our large yard that is for our guests and animals enjoyment. Wildlife frequents the property including deer and ducks. Guests tell us that we are in the center of it all but it is very quiet and peaceful. We allow smoking on the patio only, not inside the cottage.
