There is a public nature track which leads to a lakeside beach and private jetty.

Quiet self-contained unit with abundant bird life

Our peaceful property is a quaint self contained unit which is separate from the main house and has bush views. Please note that we have recently changed our house rules and for safety and suitability reasons we no longer accept bookings with children. We also cannot accommodate pets. Please note that WiFi connection is poor inside the unit but ok on covered deck. No charging of EV permitted but there are two stations in town that we can ferry you too if we are available.

From the moment the birds wake you, through to the gorgeous sunsets, Metung offers a variety of activities, such as boating, fishing, sailing, walking and cycling. The State Forests and beaches are a short drive away. The village of Metung is a 1.5km walk or drive away along the lakeshore.

This is a place to relax and unwind (large deck with bbq, secure back yard.( for small dog) Enjoy breakfast on the deck surrounded by trees with views of Bancroft bay. Wake up refreshed to the sound of birds, stroll down to the village. After your day’s adventures light the chimanea and enjoy a quiet beverage in the courtyard or cosy up to the electric fire in the lounge. Most of all relax in the beautiful village of Metung.
