The Biogas toilet even creates methane and provides a cooking stove. Kasha General store is a 2 minute drive or 17 minute walk. They have Beer/Wine/Liquor. They have a food truck with burgers, fries, fish and chips. Trails carved throughout the forest bring you down to the dock on Hell Lake. Enjoy a ride on the paddle boat.

Tanglewood Cabin is a stylish little off-grid cabin nestled in the forest on the South Shore of Nova Scotia. The cabin has a small solar system for charging your devices and to power a few lights. A beautifully built out-house is located near the cabin. While there is no running water in the cabin, water is provided for cooking, drinking and washing.
