Escape from the chaos in our modern 1,600 square foot container house! A true bucket list experience! Nestled far enough in the trees to give you privacy, yet only minutes from downtown Millersburg. Get some groceries at Rhodes (2 minute drive) or a cup of joe from Jitters Coffee House (5 minute drive). Spend the day shopping & exploring Amish Country, and come back to unwind in this unique space. The perfect weekend getaway! Master Bedroom - The master bedroom features a queen bed and is located on the top floor. It has closet space for storage. It also features a flat screen Roku TV with YoutubeTV along with a couch. Bedroom #2 - The second bedroom features a full bed with a closet for storage. Master Bathroom (Top Floor) - The master bath has a large vanity as well as a walk-in shower, toilet & storage for towels. Bathroom #2 (Main Floor) - This bathroom features a relaxing soaker tub, vanity, and toilet. Kitchen - The kitchen features fully equipped stainless steel appliances and includes the following: - Microwave - Electric Range - Keurig single-serve coffee maker - Refrigerator with water/ice dispenser - Dishwasher - Plates, cups, bowls, wine glasses - Utensils - Blender - Pots & pans - Coffee filters Living Room - The living room features two large couches & a coffee table. There is a large flat screen TV with Roku and YoutubeTV. Dining Room - The dining area holds 4 chairs. It can be used as a formal dining area to enjoy dinner or a casual work space. Top Floor Lounge Area - The space at the top of the spiral staircase has a couch and a DoubleSun Telescope to let you explore the universe. Outdoor Areas - The back patio is likely one of the more popular hangout areas of the house. It features a large, four-burner grill. It also includes patio chairs & a table. It gives a great view of an open space known for deer sightings. The side patio features a table and chair for two. It's the perfect place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee. There is also a campfire area on the rear side of the house, for late evening smores! - Guests have full access to the entire home, back patio, and all outside spaces. - Guest have access to all towels, linens, pillow cases & paper products. - The house is a short walk to Fire Ridge Golf Course. In 1946 my parents lived here, using the upstairs as dad's veterinarians office. I've remodeled it using their doors, sinks, and artwork, an Amish made bed & bedding, and included locally made soaps & coffee. My parents were simple, peaceful, and relaxed, and I hope you feel that during your stay. This unique building has one bedroom, one bathroom, a small living area with a pull-out couch and kitchen. It is located just minutes away from downtown Berlin, local farms, bakeries and so much more!

We share our drive with an Amish family farm and because this is our family home, you may occasionally hear the kids playing or tractors driving by. We are a very small walk/ride to the Rails to Trails. This is a trail that runs from Fredericksburg to Killbuck (15 miles) perfect for bikes or walks.
