This sweet post & beam house is located near town yet private and tucked away in the woods, cozy & comfortable, pet friendly, close to ATV & snowmobile trails, and Baxter State Park, Katadhin Woods and Water, plus numerous lakes and the beautiful Penobscot River. The house can comfortably sleep up to 6 people. The living area is open and sunny with a big kitchen. There is plenty of parking for recreational trailers. Enjoy the privacy of a rustic cabin 10 feet from the shore of Amabjejus Lake. Take in gorgeous sunsets on this west facing waterfront looking across the lake to the historic Ambajejus Boom House. Listen to loons at night and watch bald eagles flying overhead in the day. The cabin is furnished with a full size bed, toddler bed, table and 4 chairs. There is a picnic table, fire ring and a tent site for up to a 4 person tent. You are also welcome to use a small sandy beach shared with the owners.
