Self contained space 5 mins from airport

Ever stayed in a shipping-container renovated into a self contained unit (or ‘donga’ as we call them in the NT)? Why not give it a try! It has only previously been used for travelling family but its too good not to share with Airbnb guests. The space is fully equipped for your stay with a private bathroom and kitchenette. It is insulated, has a ceiling fan and air-conditioning. There is an additional wall fan in the bathroom and a clothes hanger for your convenience. No smoking on the property.

Quirky Nest

This special nest is a 5 minute drive from the airport and close to beaches, markets, parks, bike paths, buses and shops. The townhouse is situated in a leafy, private complex with large shared gardens and secure parking for a single vehicle. It is steps away from the Rapid Creek Shops with its cafes and supermarket and famous weekend markets. I hope guests enjoy my quirky nest and its treasures, gathered over many years of travel. I am excited offer my home to support my adventures and yours.

The Bungalow

Enjoy this original Bali Bungalow with ensuite nestled in the back corner of our family’s tropical garden. It offers a simple double bed, tea/coffee making facilities, fridge, microwave and deck. A large swimming pool, outdoor kitchen, laundry and various sitting areas are available to share. We are close to everything - foreshore, markets, buses etc. You will easily be able to soak up every sunset possible during your stay! (Please note: kids share the outdoor space & NO tv or wifi provided)

Beach Hut

Welcome to the 'Beach Hut', your tropical retreat just 600m from the foreshore/beach. Stroll the scenic coastal path taking in the stunning Darwin sunsets and early morning sun rise. Enjoy nearby air-conditioned cafes/restaurants or casual outdoor dining at the many food vans dotted along the coastal path. For your comfort, the guest house is fully air conditioned, and features a well equipped kitchen if your prefer to stay in and cook. A lovely base for you to explore Darwin or simple relax.

Self-contained, ultra-modern guesthouse with pool

Our modern, fully self-contained, one-bedroom guesthouse is the perfect place to explore Darwin and its surrounds. It's one of the few Airbnbs around with a pool (but it's very hot in Darwin, so we may need to use it occasionally too). It’s 1-bedroom but we have two foldout single beds that can accommodate an extra child or two. It's the bottom floor of our elevated home, but is completely separate with its own entrance. You may hear the odd footstep above, but we do our best to tiptoe.

This special place is seperate to our family residence, basically our granny flat we use for family and friends when visiting, and now, for you and your family! The small house has everything you need for a comfortable stay whilst in the northern suburbs of Darwin! Close to the Nightcliff foreshore, Cafe Central, Beachfront hotel and Casuarina Beach! It is comfortable, welcoming and quiet.
