Modern Japanese Farmhouse Experience

Renovated traditional Japanese farmhouse with a great view of Minami Alps and a stretch of rice fields and forests in front. On the foothills of Yatsugatake Mt. Ideal retreat for Tokyoites who want to enjoy country living in a quiet, beautiful setting. Enjoy nearby trails, walks, and cooking in a spacious kitchen/dining area with family, as well as a woodstove to keep warm. Kamesei Ryokan, quiet onsen inn, private standard

Kamesei Ryokan is a family-run traditional onsen inn with mostly warm wood construction and gardens throughout. We are an American-Japanese couple that are happy to share our onsen town Togura-Kamiyamada with visitors curious about the Japanese countryside. You can relax wearing yukata robes in your private tatami mat rooms and enjoy the hot spring mineral baths rich in sulfur content. (The onsen baths are tattoo-friendly.) Our chef's creative kaiseki-style dinners are highly recommended.

SARUYA - Twin Room #8 in Modern Traditional Hostel

Our private room features 1 or 2 futon beds on traditional tatami floors. The shared areas include bathrooms, dining space and a work/lounge/library area. The hostel Saruya Hostel opened in 2015 in Fujiyoshida, a city at the bottom of Mt Fuji. We renovated an 80 years old wooden house to create a place that allows our guests to experience time and space through carefully selected art, design and objects, mixing traditional Japanese inspiration with modern aesthetics.

My newly renovated accommodation is the best place to start your trip around this area. Just 6 minutes walk to Kawaguchiko station and few minutes walk to the lake, and 5 minutes to Ropeway. Also convenience store is nearby. This accommodation is only for entire renting and wide enough for 11 guests, width is almost 100Sqm. We have bedrooms, living room with Mt. Fuji view, smart toilet, kitchen, and bathroom in our accommodation. We are looking for your visit!

Tipy is located a 3-minute walk from Odawara Station. This is a "Machigoto guest house" with 3 buildings: "Inn", "House" and "Room". This room is a "Tatami room" located in the "inn". "Inn" is a Showa-era retro guest house that was renovated from a 70-year-old house, and has four rooms and a common space. *Unlike a typical hotel, the bath, toilet, and kitchen are shared with other guests. Please understand this before making a reservation.

Our Asante Inn is a Japanese style guesthouse hidden away in the lush green mountains of Hakone, with our very own traditional rock garden designed by the owner himself. Irori Guesthouse Tenmaku Family Room

Irori guesthouse -Tenmaku- It is opened in 2018 after spending 7month for renovation of an old Japanese ryokan. You can enjoy "Irori" which is Japanese traditional fire pit, in our common space. Also, you can try some craft beer and picked up Japanese sake at bar The location offers good access to the Hakone Open-Air Museum and the station.
