Kamesei Ryokan, quiet onsen inn, private standard

Kamesei Ryokan is a family-run traditional onsen inn with mostly warm wood construction and gardens throughout. We are an American-Japanese couple that are happy to share our onsen town Togura-Kamiyamada with visitors curious about the Japanese countryside. You can relax wearing yukata robes in your private tatami mat rooms and enjoy the hot spring mineral baths rich in sulfur content. (The onsen baths are tattoo-friendly.) Our chef's creative kaiseki-style dinners are highly recommended.

※ 6 years and under is free. Please reserve the number of people over 6 years old. Formerly-established ryokan has been reborn as share house and guesthouse with shared atelier. There are many restaurants in the surrounding area. Please enjoy the city of Nakagomi after check-in. Saku city is top class nationwide in sunshine hours. It is a region where cultivation of agricultural crops is thriving. It is rich in nature and has beautiful scenery every season. There are many ski resorts.

SARUYA - Twin Room #8 in Modern Traditional Hostel

Our private room features 1 or 2 futon beds on traditional tatami floors. The shared areas include bathrooms, dining space and a work/lounge/library area. The hostel Saruya Hostel opened in 2015 in Fujiyoshida, a city at the bottom of Mt Fuji. We renovated an 80 years old wooden house to create a place that allows our guests to experience time and space through carefully selected art, design and objects, mixing traditional Japanese inspiration with modern aesthetics.

Tipy is located a 3-minute walk from Odawara Station. This is a "Machigoto guest house" with 3 buildings: "Inn", "House" and "Room". This room is a "Tatami room" located in the "inn". "Inn" is a Showa-era retro guest house that was renovated from a 70-year-old house, and has four rooms and a common space. *Unlike a typical hotel, the bath, toilet, and kitchen are shared with other guests. Please understand this before making a reservation.
