This is a unique rustic cabin on a private dirt road nestled on a mountain brook in the forest adjoining the Giant Mountain Wilderness Area. This small (200 sq ft + 80 sq ft sleeping loft), Adirondack style cabin was completely refurbished this past year using locally sourced woods and built by hand. Located two miles from downtown Keene Valley, and at 1800 feet, this is an ideal place for those who prefer the quiet forest, the peaceful sound of a mountain brook, and possibily seeing animals.

The Peasant's Quarters has an eat-in kitchen with a full-size stove/fridge. In the bedroom is a queen-size bed. We also have a queen-size pull-out couch. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower and a private entrance with on-site parking. We are not far away from all the fun in Lake Placid/ Lake George or a day trip into Vt. Walk the bridge. The Beebe Farm was started in 1921 by Fred and Pearl Beebe. There are now four generations of Beebe's who have farmed this land. Over time these spectacular views have been created by hard work and devotion to agriculture. Our guest suite is located on our small horse farm in the foothills of the Adirondacks. The space has a cozy rustic charm, and has everything you’ll need for a quiet mountain getaway in any season. We are located right at the entrance of the Blueberry Hill Trails, a 1000-acre trail system designed for hiking, snowshoeing, skiing, mountain biking, and horseback riding. Head out the door and you're right on the trails.
