Secluded Stone Cabin w/ Wood-Fired Hot Tub

Peaceful retreat to unplug and unwind. This off‑the‑grid experience has no electricity or flushing toilets, we do provide the essentials: running hot water, an outhouse, and propane lighting. Stay includes access to a handcrafted, wood‑fired hot. (Tub is still under construction. Landscaping and some final details are not finished.) Four-wheel-drive, or high-profile two-wheel drive vehicles are needed to get to the cabin. We must greet guests at arrival to show you how to use the propane lights.

El Rancho Rocky-Cheerful Stay near Montauk St Pk

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. This two story earth home is private and warm. It's a great place to stay for a family for a week-long stay, a couple for the weekend, or a small group of fishermen ready to conquer Current River. We are about 4 miles from Montauk State Park (the head of the Current River), 11 miles to Flat Nasty Off-road Park, and 9 miles to canoe rental. The Current River can be accessed in several locations, with the closest being Montauk.

Dog-friendly Ground-FloorRoom in EcoVillage Inn

This cozy downstairs room in the Milkweed Mercantile includes two twin beds and is our only dog-friendly room. The room has an exterior entrance and includes access to a shared shower and hassle-free composting toilet in common space just outside your door. The Mercantile is a beautiful strawbale building with solar power, filtered rain water, high speed wifi, as well as air conditioning and fireplace in public spaces. Breakfast can be included for a small fee if arranged in advance.

The Gnome Dome

The Gnome Dome is located at Dancing Rabbit Ecovillage, an intentional community of about 50 people focusing on environmentally friendly living. About the Dome: • Tiny. Space to think, sleep, be. • Quaint. Built into a prairie hillock, could just as well be called the hobbit hole! • Comfortable. Wired. Resilient to heat and cold. • Customized. Hand built down to the bed, desk, skylight, stove. Suitable for one adult. No Pets. Please inquire for alternative spots.
